EIGHT-PIECE DROP BRINGS STRUCTURED JACKETS, HEAVY CANVAS, AND CHARACTER-DRIVEN DESIGN.

Carbon Core returns with a new officially licensed collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The upcoming collection focuses on structured outerwear and heavyweight construction rather than graphic-heavy merch.

The drop includes eight pieces total: four jackets, two sweaters, and two hoodies. Prices range from $95 to $230.

The standout category is jackets. Carbon Core built each piece with layered construction, heavy canvas, and stitched panel work that references characters without copying anime costumes.

THE BECCA JACKETS LEAD THE DROP

Rebecca’s designs anchor the collection. Two jackets reinterpret her color palette through racing-inspired outerwear.

The Becca Racing Jacket uses 12oz brushed cotton canvas with layered panel construction. Pink panels sit above the base fabric, creating a raised exterior. Light cyan sections are cut into the white body and stitched beneath, forming a recessed effect that adds depth without increasing weight.

The jacket uses four different canvas fabrics and two layering techniques. Dark blue side panels and aquamarine sleeves sit beneath cut-out sections of the base garment, creating a multi-layered structure across the body.

Inside, the jacket features a hexagon satin lining. Thirteen embroidered graphics appear across the garment, including a large front embroidery cut-out and a QUADRA automotive reference on the back.

Carbon Core is also releasing a second Rebecca-inspired jacket: an Armoured Bomber version that translates her aggressive design language into a darker outerwear silhouette.

THE DAVID SANDEVISTAN BOMBER FOCUSES ON CONSTRUCTION

David Martinez receives one of the most technical pieces in the collection.

The David Sandevistan Bomber is constructed from 30 individual garment pieces using a 12oz brushed cotton canvas shell. Cotton piping runs along the seams and borders to frame the panel structure.

The back graphic alone consists of 16 individual stitched pieces. A green tint creates contrast against the darker canvas tones while referencing the Sandevistan implant from the series.

A secondary graphic layer reflects David’s later arc in the story. The piece finishes with a MILITECH logo placed on the back panel.

SWEATERS AND HOODIES ROUND OUT THE COLLECTION

Beyond jackets, the drop includes two sweaters and two hoodies.

These pieces maintain the same character-driven approach while keeping the silhouettes wearable for everyday styling. Expect restrained graphics, structured fits, and heavier fabrics compared to typical anime merchandise.

The result sits closer to contemporary streetwear than licensed merch.

CARBON CORE CONTINUES ITS ANTI-COSPLAY APPROACH

Carbon Core designed the collection to reference the series without recreating costumes.

The team worked alongside CD PROJEKT RED to move away from direct anime replicas. Instead, the garments translate color palettes, world-building, and character themes into structured streetwear.

The result feels closer to fashion outerwear than fandom apparel.
