JINS Eyewear × One Piece | Limited Edition Anime Eyewear Collection Campaign
Platform: Instagram · TikTok
Campaign Type: Gifted Collaboration · Awareness Campaign
Content Delivered: 1 Instagram post · 1 TikTok video

The Brief
JINS Eyewear launched an officially licensed One Piece collaboration featuring seven unique eyeglass designs inspired by iconic Straw Hat crew members ,Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Usopp, Boa Hancock, and Law. Each frame was paired with exclusive character-themed cases and wanted poster cleaning cloths, making this as much a collector's item as a functional eyewear drop. The goal was to build awareness around the collection within the anime and anime fashion community and drive traffic to the JINS US storefront.

Strategy

SEO-Led Content Architecture
This campaign was built with discoverability as the foundation. I optimized the content around two high-intent search terms , anime eyewear and JINS One Piece, positioning the posts to capture audience members actively searching for this collaboration rather than relying solely on algorithmic reach. For a limited-edition licensed product with a defined launch window, showing up in search is as valuable as showing up on the For You page.

Character-Led Framing
Rather than presenting the collection as a single product drop, I structured the content around the seven character designs individually. One Piece fans have deep personal attachments to specific characters, someone who mains Zoro content is going to respond differently to a Zoro frame than a generic "One Piece glasses" post. Breaking the collection down by character increased relevance across different segments of my audience simultaneously.

Fashion and Fandom Convergence
The creative angle positioned these frames at the intersection of anime nostalgia and everyday wearable fashion. JINS is a high-quality Japanese eyewear brand, and this collection is officially licensed, two details that matter enormously to an anime fashion audience that is increasingly skeptical of low-quality licensed merchandise. Highlighting the craftsmanship alongside the fandom appeal gave the content credibility with both the fashion-forward and collector segments of my audience.

Results

TikTok
The TikTok post reached 30,000 views with 90 hours of total watch time, 1,466 likes, 30 comments, and 302 saves. The campaign also drove 57 new followers directly attributable to this post. The 302 saves are a standout metric, representing an audience actively bookmarking the collection as a purchase or gifting reference.

Instagram
The Instagram post generated 1,000 likes, 25 comments, and 2 reposts, indicating the content resonated strongly enough with followers to be shared directly to their own audiences.

Combined Performance
Across both platforms the campaign produced 2,466 total likes, 327 saves, 55 comments, and 57 new followers. The SEO optimization on this campaign also means the content continues to surface in search results for anime eyewear and JINS One Piece queries beyond the initial post window, giving this collaboration extended shelf life as a discovery asset.

Why It Worked
One Piece has one of the most loyal and purchase-ready fanbases in anime. Fans of this franchise don't just watch, they collect, they wear, and they identify with specific characters deeply enough to make buying decisions based on that identity. A Zoro fan isn't buying glasses. They're buying Zoro's glasses. Framing the content around individual characters rather than the collection as a whole tapped directly into that psychology.

The SEO strategy also separated this campaign from a standard influencer post. Most branded content lives and dies within the first 48 hours of posting. By building the content around searchable terms with genuine purchase intent behind them, this post continues to work as a discovery tool for anyone researching the collaboration after the initial launch window, extending the campaign's value well beyond a single news feed moment.

Key Takeaways
This campaign generated 30,000 TikTok views, 90 hours of watch time, 327 combined saves, and 57 new followers from a single collaboration. The Instagram reposts extended organic reach beyond my existing audience without any paid amplification. Most importantly, the SEO-optimized content architecture ensures this campaign continues generating awareness and driving traffic to the JINS storefront long after the posting date, making it a compounding awareness asset rather than a one-time impression.
For brands launching limited-edition licensed products, this campaign illustrates how combining community-first framing with search optimization can extend a collaboration's discovery window significantly beyond a standard launch push.

Let's Work Together
This approach is especially effective for limited-edition licensed collections, character-driven collabs, and any campaign where long-term discoverability is as important as launch-day awareness. If you're bringing an anime, fashion, or collector-focused product to market and want content that works both at launch and beyond, let's talk.
